It Just Keeps Getting Better

Gotta love that growing economy. Especially now that Holly's been laid off. Along with a few others from her company. We thought it might be coming, but I don't know that we took it that seriously.

We'll be OK but it's of course a setback. She's tough but I know it's pretty hard on her. Nothing like having all your plans upended.

We shall see if the job growth numbers look good. Oh yeah, we'll see that for sure.

Moving On

Ugh. Not a good week. Let's see. Denial. Anger. Bargaining. More anger. Despair. Depression. More denial. Resignation. Black humor. Retching. More bargaining. Yeah, I think that's where I am now.

OTOH the trip to New Mexico was fantastic. Holly and I had a great time. I love walking outside, even in the city, and breathing in the scent of piƱon on the crisp fall breeze. And -- it was a sympathetic environment, at least in Santa Fe and Taos.

Still depressing, though.

More later. Eventually.
